Different Faiths, Shared Future | Dialogue Talks

24 października 2026

On 24–25 October, we welcomed guests from Estonia and Lithuania to Warsaw for the first edition of Dialogue Talks, an international initiative bringing together people from different religious and cultural backgrounds.

We began with the panel “Different Faiths, Shared Future”, exploring how religious communities can work together to strengthen social cohesion.

Our speakers shared their experiences and perspectives:

🇪🇪 Arho Tuhkru – Lutheran perspective, Estonia
🇱🇹 Julius Česynas – Catholic perspective, Lithuania
🇵🇱 Katarzyna Kucharska Louaar – Muslim perspective, Poland

The programme also included a Warsaw tour, dinner with a Turkish family, visits to Lutheran and Catholic churches, a roundtable discussion at Dunaj Instytut Dialogu, and a visit to Mevlana Foundation.

We concluded with an ecumenical meeting with Catholic youth at the Church of St. Martin (Franciscan Sisters Servants of the Cross), with the support of Father Jan Wojciechowski.

As our guest from Estonia, Raine Morton, beautifully reflected:

“The most valuable part of these two days was the difference between knowing about dialogue and actually experiencing it. It is one thing to hear about the work of your organisation and the values behind it, but quite another to see those values come to life through real encounters, conversations and shared experiences.”

A heartfelt thank you to all our speakers, guests, volunteers and partner organisations:

🇵🇱 Dunaj Instytut Dialogu
🇪🇪 MTÜ SATU Dialoog
🇱🇹 Balturka Culture Academy

The dialogue continues!
