Ensuring Protection and Dignity of Refugees in Poland

We are pleased to invite you to our upcoming panel discussion dedicated to International Refugee Day where we will discuss 6 subtopics:

  2. Accommodation and Shelter for Refugees – Alicja Szczutowska ( Fundacja Habitat for Humanity Poland)
  3. Anti-Refugee and Anti-Migrant Propaganda in Poland – Anna Tatar („Never Again” Association)
  4. Cultural Engagement as a Tool for Healthy Integration – Kamila Lubańska (Centrum Wielokulturowe)
  5. Community Engagement and Integration: Ukraine specific – Kateryna Horban
  6. Refugee Experiences Shared by Refugees

The panel will be held on June 19th with the partnership of „Never Again” Association, Caritas Polska, Centrum Wielokulturow and Danaker Diaspora. Also there will be a speaker from Fundacja Habitat for Humanity Poland.

„Never Again” Association. The „Never Again” Association fights racism, discrimination, and xenophobia while promoting diversity and respect globally.

Caritas Polska, the largest charitable organization in Poland, provides multifaceted assistance to marginalized individuals, advocating for the common good, subsidiarity, solidarity, and social love.

Centrum Wielokulturowe is a community hub for immigrants and locals in Warsaw, offering educational, cultural, advisory, and recreational programs. It supports intercultural and civic integration.

The Danaker Organization supports the integration of women from Kyrgyzstan in Poland. It aims to create a society where women thrive, enrich their cultural heritage, and embrace new opportunities for growth.

Fundacja Habitat for Humanity Poland aims to improve the housing situation for people living in difficult conditions. As part of the international Habitat for Humanity network, founded in the United States.

Dr. Marta Pachocka, who serves as the co-head of the Migration Policies of Cities and Regions Laboratory, will be the moderator of the panel.

Together we will seek to shed light on the unique challenges faced by refugees, highlight their human rights, and raise awareness about the importance of upholding their dignity.


19 czerwca zorganizowaliśmy panel z okazji „Światowego Dnia Uchodźcy”, podczas którego mieliśmy zaszczyt ugościć wybitnich prelegentów, takich jak mgr Mateusz Krępa, Alicja Szczutowska, Anna Tatar, Kamila Lubańska, Kateryna Horban, Ali Alsubaih.
