Roundtable: Human Rights in World Religions

Have you ever wondered what religions say about human rights? Today we are creating rules to prevent violations of fundamental human rights, but it might be already ordered to humankind centuries ago. On 20th of February we will try to understand human rights from world religions’ perspective. People from different religions will explain their religious rules and we will discuss the human rights in today’s world.

Looking forward to seeing you!

Today we talked about human rights in Hinduism, Christianity, Judaism and Islam. We understood more deeply that building a community respecting human rights, makes the world a better place. One other important point is that; all religions care about the rights of ‘others’ as they care about their followers rights. In today’s globalized world respect each other’s rights is much more important than ever. Freedom of belief, freedom of expression, freedom of association… Thanks to all of you who attended the meeting!
